Elixir of the Ages, what is it? The Ancient Egyptian word for it was MFKZT , translated by the historians as "what is it?"  Many current theories abound related to quantum physics and beyond.The bottom line is that it is a substance that defies definition and can only be classified in the boundary between physics and metaphysics, ergo Alchemy.

 According to Laurence Gardner, a well respected author and historian, in Genesis of the Grail Kings and Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark, the primary manufacturing of MFKZT for over 1500 years was The Temple of Hathor at the summit of Serabit el Khadim ( the Biblical Mt. Horeb) in the Sinai.
